(Woodstock, GA) Tony Knowles took the lead at the green flag and never looked back Saturday night to take the victory in the season ending Fall Championship race.
As Knowles led the field, drivers Ricky Williams and Lee Sutton staged a race long battle for second with each driver taking the position several times before Williams took the spot in the final laps leaving Sutton to settle for third. Meanwhile, the rest of the field raced hard to get to the front with several drivers attempting to go three and four wide at times to gain positions. Luther Jenkins while running in fourth on lap three had an oil line break in turn three causing the entire field behind him to spin and pileup. Luckily no cars were damaged enough to leave the race other than Jenkins. As the raced progressed, Travis Pennington and J.J. Nye raced their way in to the fourth and fifth places in the final laps finishing in that order.
